The main purpose of this committee is to assist with financial affairs for survivors of a member or spouse who believes such service would be helpful in their time of grieving. A pre-need service to organize paperwork to prepare for the inevitable is also offered.
To those who respond to our offer of assistance, we will do whatever is necessary to ensure the correct offices are notified to begin benefits due. We will initiate SBP, Social Security, and life insurance through phone calls and filing of forms. Advice on probate, trusts, real property and investments is available if desired.
