In October, General North ended his 6-year tenure on the MOAA Board, including 2 years as the Chairman.  Read his comments about MOAA here. .

General North is also a fighter pilot with over 4,700 hours in tactical jets. 
From his F-16, he scored the first "kill" of a MiG-25 Foxbat over Iraq.
