Surviving Spouse Assistance

The main purpose of the Surviving Spouse Support committee is to assist with financial affairs for survivors of a member or spouse who believes such service would be helpful in their time of grieving.  A pre-need service to organize paperwork to prepare for the inevitable is also offered.

Please see the Survivor's Assistance Quick Checklist for details.

To those who respond to our offer of assistance, we will do whatever is necessary to ensure the correct offices are notified to begin benefits due.  We will initiate SBP, Social Security, and life insurance through phone calls and filing of forms.  Advice on probate, trusts, real property and investments is available if desired.

Call any of the below committee members for assistance or information on above matters.  If we don’t know, we will find out and return your call.
Judith Dickson, Chair, and committee members are: Karen VanHouter, Karin Wiseman and Bill Mayer.

Our telephone numbers are listed in the Membership Directory. This service is limited to active members so you must login to access the Membership Directory
